Driving the maritime transition
From the digital transformation to climate change and the maritime energy transition: The topics at the 30th SMM concern everyone. The impact of climate change is confronting us with fundamental challenges. Now is the time to take immediate action to reduce our CO2 emissions. The technological solutions are available – we just need to put them to use. Join us on a digital route toward achieving your decarbonization and sustainability goals. We’ll be live for you in Hall B6, Booth #324 at SMM, the world's largest shipbuilding exhibition, which will take place in Hamburg from September 6th to 9th, 2022, with the motto "Driving the maritime transition." Let's sail at full speed together to reduce emissions. How we can stop climate change together
Whether it’s ferries, cruise liners, or other vessels: The electrification of ships is an important driver of decarbonization. But that’s not enough: Digital solutions that can be used to optimize route planning and AI-based data models – for example, for waste-heat recovery and for optimally combining energy sources – are additional crucial technologies on the path to achieving our ambitious decarbonization goals. We just need to install them, because only then will we succeed in charting a course toward more sustainable shipping. That’s why we’re pleased to present our portfolio at SMM 2022. It’s a portfolio that will take you further on your route toward decarbonization and digitalization.
