Nakul Prasad

Corporate Strategy Manager | Siemens Energy

Vinayaka Nakul Prasad is a Corporate Strategy Manager and Global Hydrogen Lead at Siemens Energy and is responsible for developing hydrogen-based decarbonization strategies, including gas turbines and Power-to-X systems. In his previous roles at Siemens he developed strategic roadmaps to enable hydrogen co-firing in gas turbines and led various R&D projects.

Nakul holds a Ph.D. from Imperial College London / UK and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University of Darmstadt / Germany.

Karl Spencer-Armond

Head of Generation Transition Solutions | Siemens Energy

Karl Spencer-Armond leads the 'Generation Transition Solutions' team for the Americas focused on the decarbonization of the energy industry and the development of solutions for Power to X, hydrogen production and application, energy storage and hybrid solutions.

He has more than 20 years of experience with Solutions in the areas of engineering, thermodynamics, construction, commissioning, project management and business development.

Karl holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Queen’s University of Belfast, N. Ireland.

Thorsten Wolf

Product Manager | Siemens Energy

Thorsten Wolf is a Mechanical Engineer at Siemens Energy with 30+ years of experience in the power generation industry in power plant design for steam, solar, thermal & modern, flexible combined cycle. During his time at Siemens, his focus areas have included operational flexibility improvement, methods to increase power output and efficiency, and the commercial optimization of power plant assets along with value propositions for Innovation.
